Orsay Inspire Gobelins
3D Animation
As part of my final-year project, I worked in collaboration with the Musée d'Orsay to reinterpret Liberty, a sculpture by Auguste Bartholdi from the museum's collection. The film plays with the iconic image of the Statue of Liberty, deliberately making the sculpture feel monumental and instantly recognizable as the New York landmark. Through cinematic lighting, scale and slow camera movements, the film builds this illusion before revealing that it is actually the much smaller sculpture exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay. Created entirely in 3D, the project explores how lighting, composition and camera work can transform the perceived scale and presence of an object.
